Saehan Nanotech Co., Ltd. has been selected as the host company for a government-backed national R&D project focused on advanced Nano-LED display manufacturing technology.
The project aims to develop next-generation nano-imprint lithography processes and equipment for mass production of Nano-LED displays — a technology expected to succeed OLED in the premium display market.
Saehan Nanotech will leverage its existing nano-imprinting machine platform and precision machining expertise to develop production-grade NIL equipment capable of sub-100nm patterning at display panel scale.
This selection reflects the Korean government's recognition of Saehan Nanotech's deep technical capabilities in precision machine tool development and its potential to contribute to Korea's display industry competitiveness.
"This project represents a new frontier for Saehan Nanotech. Our nano-imprinting technology, combined with 25 years of precision machining know-how, positions us uniquely to solve the manufacturing challenges in Nano-LED mass production," said CEO Ahn Kook Jin.
