Saehan Nanotech is supplying an upgraded diamond wire saw for rare-earth permanent magnet processing to a new overseas customer.

Developed based on operating experience with our previous models and feedback collected from actual production sites, the upgraded machine offers improved cutting performance, operational stability, and ease of use. The machine has completed production and final inspection and is now ready for overseas shipment.

Since the mid-2000s, Saehan Nanotech has developed and supplied precision cutting equipment for NdFeB sintered magnets and other rare-earth permanent magnets. Over nearly 20 years, we have delivered machines to major magnet material and component manufacturers in Korea, building extensive experience in processing magnets of various sizes and shapes.

Rare-earth permanent magnets are brittle and sensitive to cracks and micro-defects during machining. Reliable equipment design and carefully controlled cutting conditions are therefore essential. Saehan Nanotech continues to develop precision cutting equipment using diamond wire technology, with each solution configured according to the customer's material, product geometry, and production requirements.

The upgraded model maintains the familiar operating principles of our existing equipment while incorporating practical improvements for production environments. Customers already using Saehan Nanotech machines can therefore apply their established cutting parameters and operating experience to the new equipment with minimal transition.

Demand for high-performance permanent magnets continues to grow across a wide range of industries, including electric vehicles, industrial motors, robotics, and wind power generation. At the same time, changes in the global supply chain are increasing the importance of equipment manufacturers capable of providing reliable delivery and long-term technical support.
